A Job Training & Employment Pathway for Underserved Workers
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Fresh Start Workforce Development Program provides job training, life skills coaching, and employment opportunities for individuals overcoming barriers such as homelessness, justice involvement, developmental disabilities, or limited work history.
We don’t just offer jobs—we build workforce confidence, soft skills, and career pathways that lead to long-term success.
WHO WE SERVE
We work with individuals who:
Are clients of Regional Centers (SLS, ILS, or CFS eligible)
Are transitioning from shelters, incarceration, or foster care
Are seeking second-chance employment opportunities

Have limited job experience or workplace readiness

WHAT WE OFFER
PAID JOB TRAINING
Participants are paid while learning core workplace skills through our cleaning, maintenance, and support service contracts.
Job roles include:
Residential and commercial cleaning
Janitorial and groundskeeping
Laundry and linen care

Light maintenance and move-out services
​
Admin, delivery, and customer support roles (as available)
WORKFORCE READINESS
We provide weekly coaching on:

Professional behavior and problem-solving
Communication and customer service

Task completion and accountability​
CAREER PATHWAY PLANNING
We help participants set and achieve long-term goals through:
Resume creation and digital literacy
Interview preparation and job application assistance
Connection to employers, supported employment programs, and trade schools

Continued job placement and mentorship support​
